Renewable Energy in Winchester District - Bad idea or good idea?

A chance for WinACC members and supporters to discuss the impact of renewable energy schemes planned in the district, learn how much difference they could make to our carbon footprint, and reflect on why people are concerned about schemes near them, and what needs to be done. Refreshments available from 10am.
Micheldever Station Energy Recovery Proposal
Friday 8 June, 2pm - 8pm and Saturday 9 June, 10am - 2pm
Micheldever Station Community & Recreation Centre, Winchester SO21 3AR
Energy developers "Clean Power" are proposing an Energy Recovery Centre on land alongside Micheldever railway station. They will use anaerobic digestion and waste into power. This public exhibition by the developers aims to let the local community know about their plans and answer questions before a planning application is submitted.
