Brockenhurst group begins its first project

On the morning of 4th April a group gathered in the grounds of St Saviours church. The task in hand - to start work on a community vegetable patch.

By midday after plenty of good team work (and tea and hot cross buns) the turf had been stripped from two beds and the soil beneath broken up. The next task is to dig in some manure - the ground being fairly poor. The next session will take place on 18th April at the same place starting at 10.00 am.

Anyone interested in joining the Brockenhurst group can e-mail Mary on pattisonmary66@googlemail.com or Patrick patrick@patrickandrews.co.uk. We meet once a month in the church hall - usually Friday lunchtime.
