On Saturday 26th March, Transition Lymington will be in the High Street, encouraging people to join in Earth Hour 2011.
Earth Hour is a WWF project, asking people to turn out their electric lights for just one hour in the evening of the 26th March, between 8.30 - 9.30pm, and to light a candle instead. As towns and cities around the world plunge into semi darkness, they are inspired to think about the people, places and wildlife of the planet.
If you would like to help, we are meeting outside Millets/Help the Aged at 10am for 2 hours (or until our vegetable oil candle supply runs out), just leave a comment at the bottom of this message, and we will see you there.
