New Forest Transition

Hi all,

We have two tables booked at the National Park's Greener Living show in a couple of weeks. The show is being at Sandy Balls for the second year and last year proved to be a lively and very family friendly event.

If you are able to come for an hour or two to help on the stand, anytime between 10am -4pm, it would be much appreciated. We will have some a Food Challenge activity, information about the local groups and events ahead, plus information on the energy group too.

Learn the art of Flintknapp​ing, Sunday 29 April at Testwood lakes, Totton

This was so popular last year that we have invited back KarlLee, one of the few professional flint knappers in Britain. An extraordinary workshop where you can learn how our ancestors created and used their tools to survive. Students are welcome to keep all of the tools that they make during the workshop which (depending on level of experience) will include arrowheads, spearheads, hand-axes, scrapers. You will take home at least one replica of a prehistoric tool that you have made - guaranteed! 10am -4pm. Cost £50.
