Life, The Universe and Everything
Water Use and Conservation - Hyde
The next open meeting of the HDCCF is on July 5th 2012 at 7.30 pm in the Hyde War Memorial Village Hall.
Our speaker will be Greg Pienaar, a water strategy expert for Sembcorp Bournemouth Water Co, talking about "Water Use and Conservation".
There will be tea and coffee and an opportunity to ask questions.
The meeting is free for HDCCF members and £2 for non members.

Celebrate the Solstice with us!
Come and join us at the beautiful Ipley Manor for dinner, games and firecircle to honour the longest day of the year.
Thursday June 21st from 7PM on. (Ipley Manor, Marchwood, SO40 4UR)
Outdoors or undercover (the event will go ahead whatever the weather)
- A '15 mile' curry prepared using Thermal Cookers and made with local, seasonal ingredients by vegan chef Richard Barnett
- Croquet, Channel Island Cricket, Smite!, Boules, Jenga, Sticky Bats and Balls on the lawn
- Stories and sharing and the symbolic burning of the winter solstice wreath around the fire lead by Lena Palanzas
- A sunset walk (weather permitting)
