Buying and growing local food - How are you finding it?
Have you being trying to buy local food? Reasonably priced and of good quality?
Having problems accessing land to grow your own food?
We are hoping to raise some of the issues of buying and growing local food and also start to find solutions to those issues.
On Thursday 30th September, with the backing of the NPA, District Council and a few other local names, we are running a Local Food Summit. Trying to get together, anyone and everyone in the forest associated with local food. Its for a morning, in the new Treehouse Study Centre at Beaulieu. Along with a local food ploughman's for lunch.
You are very welcome to come and take part as a local grower, buyer, shop owner, allotment holder, or just a customer/consumer.
If you would like join us or would like more details, please write a comment on this website, or email me at events@newforesttransition.org
Many thanks
Sarah
