Just to let you know, that the Transition Towns Initiative has another document called the Transition Initiatives Primer. It is a very useful document for those wishing to embark on their own initiative. It gives specifics about projects in Kinsale, Totnes, reasons why you might feel Transition is not for your community - and why these are in fact not issues at all, the 12 steps of Transition, your final goals, some possible structures, list of appropriate DVDs and further reading.
It is in .pdf form online which you can read, or save across to your c: drive.
