The ACCG is holding its AGM on Tuesday 7th May evening at Longdown Activity Farm (Deerleap Lane).

Andy Brennan from the National Park Authority will be talking about the sustainability of the New Forest.  There'll be reports on the various projects the group is involved with (Community Apple Pressing, Litter Picking, Cycle Path improvements etc) and a chance for you to whip up a local fruit smoothie on the New Forest Food Challenge's Smoothie Bike!  How could you resist!!

The aim is to bring people together from districts across Hampshire who are taking action in their communities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to:

On 23 March Charles Dowding will be at Minstead Study Centre for an afternoon session looking at all aspects of compost.  This post is just to let you know that if you come to event not only will you leave with bags of knowledge but you can now also leave with bags of compost too!

Minstead Study Centre has ordered a supply of Moorland Gold compost. This product from West Riding Organics is made with a natural occuring peat product which is collected through water filtration. These composts are rich in naturally occuring minerals & trace elements, which encourages strong & healthy balanced growth, with reduced need for additional feeding.

There will be 40 litre bags of both potting and and cutting compost each at £10 (rrp £13.99 plus p&p)
