The next open meeting of the HDCCF is on
Thursday September 13th 2012 at 7.30 pm
in the Hyde War Memorial Village Hall.
Our speaker will be Stef King who will talk about ‘Creating a Sustainable Economic System’.
He will discuss relationships with money, ‘your money and your life’ shifting from profit and growth towards happiness and real value. Stef King has a background in Financial Trading and Personal Business Coaching.
There will be tea and coffee and an opportunity to ask questions.
The meeting is free for HDCCF members and £2 for non members.

HYDE VILLAGES DIAMOND JUBILEE PICNIC
On Tuesday 5 June, we will be holding a Picnic from 12 noon on Hyde Common (Village Hall if wet).
Bring your own picnic and everything. There will be games and activities, kite flying, rounders etc. Make and wear your own crown (from re-cycled materials, please) There will be live music and New Forest Ice Cream (free to crown wearers)

HYDE DISTRICT CLIMATE CHANGE FORUM
The next open meeting of the HDCCF is on March 8th 2012 at 7.30 pm in the Hyde War Memorial Parish Hall.
There will be a short film by the New Forest Transition Group, highlighting activities and initiatives for producing locally grown food and marketing it. There will be an opportunity fordiscussion
After the coffee break we will hold the AGM. Nominations (or volunteers) for officers and committee members are welcome (from members only please)
We are also investigating the amount of support there would be for becoming a carbon free village as part of a project funded by DECC's Low Carbon Communities Challenge. We encourage as many of you as possible to attend to learn more about this exciting scheme.
