Spring Fair - Priestlands School

Transition Lymington will be holding their second annual Spring Fair in the grounds of Priestland's School on Saturday 17th April.

Come and join us, as we celebrate what is local:

Stands from local crafts people, local foods, kids activities, story telling in the tepee, seed planting, plant sale, cafe, hot food, sustainable transport, local preserves and chutneys, 'Grow your own Veg', beekeeping workshop, homemade crafts and jewellry, or just come and see the animals in the Walled Garden!

One of our story tellers is Steph Bradley, who will have walked all the way from Transition Towns Totnes. Find out more about her..

Green Film Nights

Come and join us at the Thomas Tripp Pub in February and March 2010.

We will be showing some of the old favourites and a couple of more recent films in their side bar. Arrive from 7.30pm, films at 8pm.

Wednesday 10th March - Robert Newman's History of Oil - Comedy Sketch (40 mins) and Wake up, Freak Out (10 mins)

Thursday 18th March - In Transition (54 mins) - A postive look at other towns that are 'in transition.'

Lights Out For Lymington

Transition Lymington are supporting the WWF Earth Hour. By turning your lights out, for just one hour on Saturday 27th March 8.30pm, you will show that you care.

88 countries took part in 2009's Earth Hour, and this year Lymington want to be a part of this too.
